No phone service

So today I made a payment on my account,  payment was actually due on the 28th. Payment went through fine, but I only have data, no phone service at all.

I tried restarting my phone,  still no phone service. When I log in to my account on the PM app it still says that my account is suspended and I need to make a payment. 

I also tried using the chat feature but got nowhere with it,  was told to make a payment. 

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Update: The issue was the increased cost for 911, I live in Saskatchewan so I had to pay an extra $2.17. Once I paid that it was fine, but I don't really understand why I had to figure that out on my own, rather than the system having a pop-up message. My only guess is that it's related to the fact that it was the day the new 911 charges came into effect.

So I restarted my phone (again) and now I have no data either .

There's no reason for the customer to make a payment as payment has already been made. This was stated in the first post.

Service after payment should never take a day to start working.  It's supposed to start working immediately, though I have seen it take a few minutes.

What phone do you have?

try Reboot phone.  And ask PM to check.  Since you have trouble open ticket using Chatbot, message PM directly
