Typically, your available funds will be accessed first for payment before your credit card is charged. You don't need to turn off autopay or pre authorized payments if you have available funds.
Maybe check your payment history page for the last several months. If questions, you can screenshot information. Otherwise, you will need to wait for customer service agent response.
