Changing APN settings doesn't change the signal strength. There are many factors that can influence signal strength including things such as weather or the number of custoemrs accessing the network.   If the servcie is working satisfactorily, I would suggest to ignore the signal strength meter.

you can also try to test the sim in another phone 

and on your S22, Star with Reset All Networks

if still does not work, please confirm the APN,  update accordingly  and save:

( @Jiening please check you APN Settings as well. Also testing the sim on another phone helps)

Tried the reset and APN, it didn't work. My cell is Xiaomi pro 12 international version. Before it works well for more than 1 year.

It's an s22 ultra. I have tried but not working. I was o  Roger's before and it worked fine.

you checked any of the above troubleshooting steps? or please provide us more details like brand and model of your phone and please confirm if you are make and receive voice calls and text

I have been having the same issue. First no text and now no data. I have reached out to customer service and no reply from them. It's been more than a week now.

data ever work on your phone?  Android or iPhone?

for data issue, usually it is APN settings.  You can first try Reset All Networks or Reset Network settings

for iPhone, also make sure your iOS is updated and you have the latest Carrier profile

for Android, also make sure your OS is up-to-date and make sure you don't have data limit enabled.  And if it still does not work, you can manually tweak the APN settings.  Let us know what model and brand of your phone it is
