No GOOGLE

After 2 hours fooling around I finally got onto INCOGNITO and bought the $25 dollar 500GB plan,phone works but nothing else,no browser(Google),no text with a picture,this service is starting to look like a waste of time or is it me,please help me I need this up and running I am going to Florida in 48 hours.

@huffy47   yours is a dual SIM phone, right?  did you choose the proper sim slot for data?

Before I put in the sim I reset it to factory settings,again the phone and texting works,nothing else,no google or app store,it say it's not connected,manually just did this,still nothing,quiting time is coming soon,yes I know it's me but I've done this before and never ran into this,it will not pick up the internet.

Did you try a Network Reset of your phone Settings (if this phone has this...)?

So, it sounds like you activated another SIM card though the activation process? This means you would have been $25 x 2?

Just so you know, you could have had the Public Mobile Moderators swap that new SIM card on your first account, and you would not have had to pay for another plan.

Because you are having a difficult experience today, perhaps the Moderators can cut you a break? Explain your issues (I would mention the activation problems issue that was happening today), and maybe then can close one account and put those $25 funds onto your new account.

I have the second card here,they send 2 and actually bought another 500GB package,I hate loosing and had a smoke and a coffee and I'll sit here all night if I have too,the new card is the same,the phone works fine,out going and incoming calls,the texting works BUT not with a picture,and when I press "browser" nothing no connection,that's where I am and yes I know it's a cheap little phone that's all I need to travel with,it's a Soyes xs11,it's not on the "compatible" list but it clearly is or the phone would not work,sorry for my last messages but it's now 6 hours of this.HELP LOL.

.. wont be Chatr, Chatr has the best roaming option out of the 3 Tier 3 .. it can basically roam where Rogers can roam

Sound like you came from Lucky because of it lacks  Roaming, now you are giving your money back to Bell again?  Lucky Bell!!

@huffy47  sound like it is a phone setup issue instead of PM.   

You said your friend is using the same phone and on PM  as well?  You should have try his SIM on your phone and try your SIM on his.  Also, you should check the APN setup with his and see what need to be changed.

I know you are tired an want to port the number out again, but you do need to setup the SMS first so you can receive the text to approve porting out.

Maybe stick here a bit longer so we can help you to get this phone setup?

I can see how this all was extremely frustrating,  especially starting  with a temporary  down activation site this afternoon. 

Sorry to hear about  the loss of you SIM card😥

My next trouble shooting was going to ask if you phone is locked to its previous provider. If so, that provider  should  be able to unlock it for you.

You could test this by putting your friend with a PM SIM card (or different provider  than ur last one into the phone).

But, it seems you may have had enough since the sissors already came out.

Geez have some patience....your phone is only compatible with the 3G network . You would have issues with most other carriers becausr they use the 4G LTE network for talk. PM does have text/talk and data on the 3G network. These are your specs...

Frequency 2G (GSM): 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz 3G (WCDMA): 850 / 900 / 2100 MHz

Network Type 3G

Edit: Or the rogers family since they still have 2G.

Worked fine with my other provider they just don't have USA Roaming so I got Public,cheap phone yep,cheap **bleep**ty company also,this Publics is a joke man,I'll be up and running with Bell tomorrow and all set,complete garbage company.

Problem solved,I took out the sim card to do the reset and said screw it,I cut it in 2 with scissors or I would be playing around all night,this Publics mobile is a complete joke,I'll be set up with Bell in 3 minutes tomorrow,garbage company.

Put the PM sim from friends phone, in yours to see if the phone will actually work.

 @huffy47 : If you're able to call in/out then texting should work. Outbound texting would need the proper SMSC number set up.

But without data capability on the phone, no picture messaging, no browsing.

Picture messages require data on the account (though doesn't consume it). I'm not sure if HSPA data is included with WCDMA. But if your friend says it works then fine. Where is your friend? If you're in MB then you might be in trouble.

Thats excatly what I have been sitting here 5 hours doing,finally got the paln bought and the phone works,now I try to send a test and nothing,then a text with a picture,nothing,so I tried the browser,says I have no service,so I figured I'd try here because BELL is closed,seriously I'll take it there,hand it to them and a 18 year old kid will have me up and running in 3 minutes.

How about calls in/out? Texts in/out?
