Newbie about Public Mobile

My location is near Lynn Valley Centre, North Vancouver BC, Canada. I subscripted this $30/mo 8GB plan last night with my newly purchased iPhone 17 Pro. I noticed.

1). I only get 2 bars signal inside of my townhouse.

2). for somereason I don't get data even my Cellular Data and Cullular Data Options Roming is on.

This is an eSim iphone only.

Any ideas how to improve the signal and how to get the data to work?

Sorry, I forgot to update this thread. My cellular data was working after the conversation with the agent. The issue was fixed after the eSim was patched.

Thank you guys for the rapidly responds. I followed all the recommendations you guys mentioned above. It still doesn't work. The phone is working though, but data is not. I chatted with the machine support, it doesn't seem to get any solution. In the end it recommended me with the agent email. I am talking to the agent right now. Hopefully, it will bet resolved soon.

There seems to be good coverage with Telus and Bell towers in that area.

Did you check if the signal improves when you are outside?

Try to reboot your phone. You could also try a network reset of your phone. 

I would not worry too much about your signal bars as long as your service is working fine.  Depends on your nearest Telus cell tower.

your phone should work with PM without issue

make sure your Carrier Profile is updated

make sure you don't have any VPN enabled, disable or even delete any VPN profile

make sure all the old eSIM are disabled, only PM eSIM should be enable (toggle on Turn on this Line).  

if same data issue, ask PM support agent to check.   Submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

             Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" ,  "Other",  "Log In".  
             (If unable to receive 2FA SMS, click "Didn't Receive Code" or "Resend Code" and Select "Send Email")
