Welcome to Public! I am fairly new as well and have had no issues or surprises! I found when activating my sim card not to use Edge but moved to Chrome or my Ipad and all went smoothly. I read the Community Board as much as I can to try to learn and avoid some of the possible issues. I did sign up for AutoPay to save $. If you are unsure of something the Community is great for answers and I also try to look up things in the subject line. Enjoy the savings and welcome aboard!

Welcome to the public mobile community!
The only bill shock you'll get here is how cheap it is....and how you can lower your bill by taking advantage of the rewards offered by public mobile. My first account was $0 by month 2 (60 days) and my second account will be $0 next month when my first years loyalty reward ($1) is applied.
Sign up for deal alerts on the plans page and keep checking in every few days for any surprise announcements, ask a question, do some research, use the search bar or just browse the different boards and threads and post a reply or bravo a good post.

Public mobile is prepaid. So every 30 day plan is paid in advance. You get what you pay for nothing else so never a surprise bill.
When you receive your sim card don't forget to use a referral code when activating it for a $10 signup bonus (applied within 72 hours of activating).
Also once your account is created don't forget to sign up for autopay for a $2 reward per 30 days. To do so log into your self serve account when it's made. Click payment then "manage autopay".
Welcome to Public Mobile 🙂
