New subscriber cannot use phone

I recently switched to public mobile and now I cannot call anyone in my area (705). My phone has a 416 area code

Hey @PatnGary57, are you able to receive calls, send and receive SMS text messages? These would be basic steps for confirming your service is working. 

You will probably need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:

(and then type: Customer Support Agent)

also try calling without the 1 then.  (yes, it is confusing)

and can you call other area codes? like 905?
