New number not taking non-Telus network calls/texts

Decided to give up on porting my old number as it has been a week and a bit without replies on it being cancelled so I decided to get a new number. I got the new number I desired, but it now doesn't take any non-Telus network calls or texts? I know this because my Public Mobile and Telus friends can text me, but my Rogers/Wind friends say that my phone is either a landline or not in service.

Any mods that can help me on this?
