New eSIM – Can’t receive calls (goes straight to voicemail)

Hi Public Mobile team,

 

I recently activated a new eSIM with Public Mobile (no number porting). I can make outgoing calls, send texts, and use data with no issues. However, I cannot receive incoming calls—they all go straight to voicemail.

 

Here’s what I’ve already done:

 

  • Confirmed Public Mobile is set as the default voice and data line
  • Made sure Silence Unknown Callers is turned off
  • Verified Do Not Disturb is off
  • Checked that Call Forwarding is off
  • Did a full Reset Network Settings
  • Verified my Public Mobile number is correct in Settings > Phone > My Number

 

 

I also submitted a support ticket, but haven’t received a response yet.

 

Could someone from the @CS_Agent team please check if my account and eSIM are properly provisioned for voice service? Everything else works, just not incoming calls.

what phone do you have?

any chance you have another eSIM there? disable it if you do

Try Reset Network Settings first

If the sim still does not work, ask PM to check
