Hello all,
I have already submitted tickets for this, but since I have not received any help that way, I am reaching out to the community to see if someone may have encountered this problem lately.
I took advantage of the "Flash sale", and transferred my number of Monday. By Tuesday morning, I received texts (from Public Mobile, and from my previous provider) that the transfer was done. Validated that I could send and receive calls.
However, I keep getting a message that the phone "Cannot activate the cellular data network" when trying to use data. I tried restarting the phone several times, even tried different data modes (5G, LTE, etc), but nothing seems to work. If I try to change the APN, it gets reset to the same thing all the time.
Still hoping for an official reply to my tickets on this, but in the meantime... did anyone else encounter this problem? Any idea how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Update: agent got back to me, added $5 voucher to my account so I could try a new eSIM. That worked without any hiccups (and was pretty quick).
Now data is working (as well as voice and text, as before).

Thanks for the reply. The PM eSIM is enabled and (partially) works since I can make phone calls + texts. It is labeled as "Primary". I had kept the old SIM card in, but it was disabled. So, for good measure, I also removed it (which got rid of this entry in my cellular settings).
Restarted the phone, same problem. Cannot activate cellular data network. 😞

Make sure old sim is removed, old esim is disabled
Check and make sure PM sim is enabled and the Mobile Label is Primary. Then Reboot phone and Reset Network Settings
