I just activated my sim card and new PM account. Am I able to request a specific number that I know is not in service right now cause I have called it, but if I don't know what service provider it belongs to?

@parkerremy2 - have you had a glance at numbers currently available in your self serve? Maybe you will find one you like, orrr what would be the chances the one you want could be listed? Slim, probably.
You can change your phone number up to 4 times every 30 days after you’ve activated. To change or transfer your number after activation, go to your Self Serve Account here and:
- Select the “Plans and Add ons” tab
- Click on “Change Phone Number”
- Then, you can choose to select a new phone number or to transfer a wireless or wireline number from another provider.

If it is a Telus number, there is a good chance that you might get it.
Contact a CS_Agent to see if the number is available to PM.

Unlikely, especially if you don't know where it belongs. You can check with a CSA and if it is Telus, Koodo or PM you may get lucky
