If it was in store, you will not get the $25 referral as the offer was for online activations only.
You will, however, get $1/30-days for every 30 days your friend(s) continues with Public Mobile.

Both times I've given a referral, the reward wasn't applied until the day after.

If you properly followed all of the instructions it should be done within 4 days. Usually faster.
If it takes longer contact the moderator team. Be assured if you did the process properly you will get the credit, if not automatically a moderator will fix it.

When interacting with the moderator team, it is important to identify yourself with account PIN code, phone number / account number and provide as much information about the problem in question as possible so that the moderator team can work on the issue without having to ask for further information. Each interaction causes further delays to problem resolution.
I know it can be a little frustrating to wait but they will get back to you asoon as they can between Monday-Friday 9am-9pm (EDT) and Saturday-Sunday 9AM-7:30PM (EDT). It typically should be within 48 hours.

Best if you contact the Moderator Team with your account, 4 digit pin and the details of your referral in a private message. There can be a delay in the credit being posted.
