Hello, i just recently joined PM. The problem i’m having is the limitations on the apps while using PM network. App such as VPN , windscribe, wechat(discovery) , and many other apps doesnt work with PM data network.
the apps i never has issue with other network, like telus, koodo, fido, wifi at home. Once on PM network, they stop working. I want to know why is this happening? What’s the solution to this?

Sounds like PM network is blocking or restricting certain app traffic, especially VPNs and apps like WeChat. Some people switch to different app versions via Happy Mod or just use Wi-Fi/mobile data that doesn’t filter those services.

1. APN reset done;
2. Network reset done;
3. update IOS, no, not gonna do it.
4. CS agent said there are limitations on public mobile....
The issue i'm having never happen with other service provide, such as Telus/Koodo, Rogers/Fido, and home wifi.
So, it's definitely PM's problem, and it's un-resolvable at current stage.
I got my VPN work, but not all VPN app works.

If you turn off VPN, all apps work?
Some complained the VPN does not work well. But as far as I know , PM does not block VPN
And also try changing the VPN protocol settings to Open VPN -TCP

Some customer have issues using VPN on the Public mobile network in previous posts.
Did you try the network reset as recommended earlier?
Might want to update your IOS.
You could also contact customer service agent to see whether there is something that they can help with. Click on the chat icon on the right lower corner of website and follow prompts to submit a ticket.

Just did APN reset and reboot iphone 16pm, nothing has changed, still doesn’t work with certain apps. Windscribe worked by changing the Protocol to Stealth from Wireguard. But not all the apps has this kind of protocol function to modify.

Hello @Hector_Wang
This could be an issue with which IP address you're choosing. You should check your APN settings. You can also do a network reset on your phone and then reboot it. This should reconnect you to the Public Mobile network. Depending on what service you were on before, there may be left over connection information on your phone. Network reset clears this old info and starts fresh.
