Hi,

I have a 4G device and I got a message from Public mobile as:

Public Mobile update: Your device uses our 3G network. Starting June 15, 2026, you will see a $5/mo 3G usage price increase on your bills if you continue using this device. Your monthly price will change from $29 to $34.

Switch to a 4G LTE/5G device to avoid this amount on your bill starting on your following renewal. You can cancel your subscription without penalty until 30 days after the effective date of this change.

Can someone help please, I have 4G.

If you are the mode and can delete my IMEI number which got posted by mistake I would appreciate it.

I checked the page and it put in my IMEI, seems my device is VOLTE compliant even by Public Mobile's own database:

So if that is the case, why did I get the message for the 3G charge?

@Sharmin  what's the 4G phone do you have? Please note the 4G refers to accessing the internet and not for making a receiving phone calls.

Your phone could be using the 3G service for calls hense the reason for the message and your need to purchase a new phone soon to avoid loss of service.
