Have moved the sim to a used pixel but the pin number I used before doesn't unlock the phone. How can I get in or override?

This isn't an issue to for someone to contact Samsung about. The customer is using a Pixel device. If we assume that the Pixel device is carrier locked (which it shouldn't be), Samsung wouldn't be able to assist.

If you're still being prompted for the SIM card's PIN, the default PIN for all Public Mobile SIM cards is 1234.
