My phone was stolen. I need a new SIM but want to keep my number. What should I do?

1. get the sim card from Telus/PM store
2. try to login My Account using email to receive 2FA code (click Didn't receive code) and go to Profile and update sim card number
if you cannot login My Account, support agent to help to update
please submit a ticket with CS Agent using this Chatbot link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

According to what Dunkman suggests, I should first change my SIM number and then activate my card, right?

Do not activate a new account with the new SIM card.
Go to your profile page and replace the SIM card number.

Report your phone as lost/stolen to suspend your service. Then order a SIM from either Public Mobile, Amazon or your local retailers. When you receive it then you can go back and resume your service then change your SIM card number.
