Hello,

Still having trouble figuring out how to find things here so I have some questions that hopefully will get a response this time…yup, still having trouble finding my messages and yes, I get a confirmation that they’ve been sent.

When I sign in to My Account, the Eversafe thing pops up and I enter my email/password.  Then I click on Community and I notice in the top right hand corner…Sign In.  I thought I just did that but when I click on it, Eversafe thinks about and then let’s me in.  Why can’t I just sign in once and have everything available to me…why the extra step?

I sent a Community message a couple of days ago saying that I got a response from someone wrt my three unanswered questions from the previous week but couldn’t find it…now I can’t find THAT message or the response (if there was one).  Again, received a confirmation that it was sent.  Shouldn’t the messages I send show up in my envelope at the top right of the page so I have easy access to them without having to scroll looking for it?  There was no email notification to say someone responded cause one of my questions dealt with how to set the parameters so I would ONLY get responses to my messages and to Announcements (my Inbox was flooded with PM notifications so I had turned them off).  Would someone please tell my exactly which boxes to check so I will only get those two notifications?  In my most recent message, I had asked, when setting the parameters for notifications, that the explanations (when you hover over the little i) be in layman’s terms not just an exact copy of the wording I couldn’t understand in the first place.  

I also asked about the 3G, 4G and 5G plans.  My plan’s speed is 3G…and that suits me.  Will PM be getting rid of the 3G plans and only offer the 4G and the 5G?  If that happens, will there be a similar plan to the $15 one I currently have…I realize that it will be more than $15 but I don’t need 20GB of data when I don’t even use the 250MB my plan gives me.

Last question…is it still too late to get my old nickname back…Griffyn without the 1?

Sorry…I know this message is very confusing…it would have been so much easier to just speak with an actual person but that wasn’t an option.

Hoping this message gets posted, read and replied to cause I won’t be trying a fourth time.

ShortyJ0490…I completely understand how you can be unsure about my other questions…I tried my best to word them so that they weren’t so confusing…as I said, easier to have a live conversation.  But thanks for responding.

My problem wasn’t in accessing my Settings etc, it was in setting the parameters once I got there😏!

Change the parameter after you get your old community id and profile back

But I think the current /default settings is that you will only get notification for posts you got involved.  But there is no way for it to notify you when new post in Announcement boards.  So, you have to come here often to check Announcement

Hi softech…thanks for the prompt reply.  Yes, the sign in to My Account does take me to my account page.  

When I say ‘old’ messages, I’m referring to the ones I’ve been sending within the past week, so under Griffyn1, not before Eversafe when I was Griffyn.  

Someone mentioned in a post that, when they got their old ID name back, they lost the messages they posted under the new ID…was that just a glitch or will that happen to me if I ask to go back to my old ID?

When I click on the envelope, it only gives me the private messages I’ve sent, not the ones I’ve posted in the general Community…do I really have to scroll in order to find those?

softech, are you able to tell me which parameters I should have on in order to receive notifications for ONLY the Announcements and responses to my messages?

Thanks for the info about the plans too…nice to know I won’t be having to upgrade to a plan that gives me way more data than I need.

1. Can you login My Account via this link? https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/
After EverSafe login, are you landed on My Account? 

If not, your id is not properly linked with your My Account and you need support to help with that, please message them here to open ticket

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there
 
2 and 4:  To find your old message on Community, check this link

Your old Community id name is Griffyn?  That's why you are not reading the old message as you are now on another profile.  NO worry, open ticket with support as advised above, and ask them to link you back to the old Community id/profile
 
 
3. For now, PM still have 3G plan.  So, no worry.  Also, usually PM will honor grandfathered plans.  So, even they are getting rid of 3G plan for new activation, that should not affect those already having the 3G plans

So to get your messages you can go up to the top of the page where you can see your profile picture in the top right hand corner. If you click on your profile picture there it will display a drop down menu where you can access my settings, notifications, messages and such. Hope that answers that question. Unfortunately I am unsure about your other questions.
