I don't think so because every sim is on it own separate account. There aren't family accounts

Just wondering is Public Mobile can have a pool share plan for family mumber or not? Can Public Mobile set up this kind of paln?

@jp2Look at this

The mods have offered a solution of transferring the credit to the acoount of a friend or family member.
So if you want to be my "friend" I'll instruct them to transfer the credit to your account. Just let me know how much you are willing to buy it for. I will accept the best offer. Thanks!
That is hardly comparable to this situation. Since you use so little data, why not just get a talk and text plan and use the non expiring data add-on. If you need a suggestion for your charitable offering, I can PM you my interact credentials.

Why not switch to a lower plan and donate the extra money to charity?
Now this is a really sensible suggestion.

@LEGO I would but I don't trust people on my wifi incase they do bad things / download illegal stuff. I would give someone all the money in my bank withdrawn as cash but not give them access to my bank account / login password of bank.
That’s why I said “nice” neighbors. “Nice” neighbors would not do bad things / download illegal staff!
I was going to suggest the same thing. Make some friends in the process.
I had to check my data usage to see whether I might need to follow through with this suggest. I should be okay for this period. My usage is tracking at about 95%, so no much left on the table at renewal time. I might need to seek out @RobertQc to borrow some data should my rationing go off the rails.

@RobertQc, my only suggestion is buy what you need. This is a prepaid service, so no overages to worry about.

Hi,
I believe this is something not easy to do; donating data. However you could try out making a plan to use more data related stuff to make your life easier and meaningful since you have a lot of data to spare. If you are traveling in the bus listen to some podcasts or some online courses; and even while driving you could listen to a podcast. It will also make you learn new things 🙂

@RobertQc Yeah I agreed with what you thought. I sent a private message to Mods a year ago about that but they said it’s impossible to transfer unused data for someone else. Hopefully PM will have a new policy about that in the future

@NevantechThat's too bad, we should be able to in a friendly community such as this. If I can send my balance of canadian dollors to a friends account I should be nice to be able to donate my balance of data, or balance minutes to someone less fortunate even at a reduced amount like paying a penalty on air miles to balance transfer.
@jp2 wrote:@RobertQc have you seen this at other carriers? How would it work?
@jp2I have not seen it at phone companies but I have with many other programs usually dealing with points but at the same time I have never seen a phone company have a public forum and community. It could be done in "my account" you just insert the phone number / account number and what you are willing to send over or even a "donate" button where public mobile sends 10% back the cost to a war amps or something.
@meocon wrote:@RobertQc I have never heard about donation data but that’s a good idea. I have 12GB data for 3 months but I just used about 3GB for 3 months.
@meocon You may have more of a reason to stay on a 12gb plan when you only use 3 if you have the possibility to help people, although the other argument they would have is then other people won't buy the data add-on but I think its worth a shot, since public mobile is different than other companies and it would be one heck of a promotional item to essentially "share" or "donate". The first of its kind. Huge publicity for them.

I am would be more likely to stay on a higher priced plan if I could donate some un-used portion to someone who may not be able to aquire more.
