Hello,
My phone number was transferred to public mobile in May. The new number works for incoming. From time to time people report that they are getting texts from me from a strange number...the temporary number that was assigned via the e-sim I am guessing, before the number was transferred.
Please let me know how i can change the number so that my texts come from my actual forever number!

please do not message support for him in this case. If you are receiving incoming calls and texts, then the service is working and the occasional messages you got is not a PM's problem. Messaging them just a waste of your time and PM's time
Instead, maybe we should spend more time helping you to resolve the problem
Are you using iPhone? do you remember the temporary phone number you got earlier? Did you try calling that number and confirm no one has that number yet? If no one has it yet, maybe you can try to deactivate it with iMessage here:
