Hey so I added funds to my account and my account says active but won't let me place calls or text when I have a plan for unlimited text and talk it won't even let me call voice mail please it's very important I get my phone working I have tried turning it on and off and taking the Sim card out with no luck any other suggestions

I did the 1$ trick and it seems to be all working now

I guess you don't have a credit card attached to the account.
Do you have a credit card? You can purchase a $5 voucher online from recharge.com and try to put that in to do a nominal pay in.
Or go to a store and buy one.
Or attach your credit card to here and try the $1.

Under active in your self serve account does it show the right plan? Did you try @Anonymous trick of adding a $1?
EDIT: How long ago did you add the funds?

Ok. The other trick that has been known to fix things is to manually pay in $1 (or something nominal). Then restart phone.

Try the lost/ stolen trick....mark it as lost/stolen for 5-10 minutes then click found...

Try the lost/stolen feature.
Log in to self-serve. Plan & Add-Ons from top menu. Lost/Stolen Phone from next menu. Suspend Service button. Log out. Wait a few minutes. Log back in and back to Lost/Stolen Phone and Resume Service this time. Log out. Restart phone.
See what happens.
