When you say "old number".. how old are we talking about? If it's more than 90 days old, you will no longer be able to get it. You will have to get a new number. If you ported the number in from another provider, that number has been sent back to them (if it's past the 90 days). Public Mobile will not be able to help you retrieve it if it's past the 90 days. If it's before 90 days, log into your account and make a payment. That will bring your number back to live, once again, if it's under 90 days. Good luck.

call 1855.4PUBLIC and enter that phone number. if it cannot be found then there is no account associated with that
you should of course call the number directly and see if anyone owns it already
if you own that before and no one has it still, you can try asking PM and see if they can assign you back.
