My PM Sim doesn't work.

I have a compatible unlocked phone.

I have a fresh new number

My phone doesn't recognize my sim or pm provider.

I can not make selections for data due to sim not recognized. 

Galaxy S8

SM-G950W

IMEI 35*************

Sim not registered

It has been a month now and still no service.....Help

No joy.

Also tried restart without sim then with.

  • Yes its unlocked. I had a Fox mobile sim in last.

@4x4albert Hi are you sure it's unlocked?  please you are on a public forum edit your post we do not need your EMEI number top right corner 3 dots click edit you can contact samsung on the web and technical support will help you unlock it

@4x4albert  Try in order:

1. Try putting your phone on aeroplane mode for 5 minutes. Take it off and restart

2. Try resetting your network settings 

Galaxy S8 network follow the steps below:

  1. First of all, open the home menu of your phone and locate Settings.
  2. Go to Settings and locate About device.
  3. Tap on About device you will see a number of options, select Reset.
  4. In the Reset menu, locate Reset Network Settings.
  5. Tap on it and give it permission to reset network settings of your Galaxy S8.
  6. Once it is done. Restart your phone.

@4x4albert One Month? Why haven't you went to the community sooner? You will have to contact a moderator to get this issue fixed.

 

Contact a moderator:

 

Step 1: Click Here to chat with SIMon

Step 2: Type in “moderator” to connect to a Public Mobile

customer service representative.

 

Step 4: Choose “Account-specific question”

Step 5 Then choose “No, I want a human

Step 6 Create your ticket

Check the sent folder to make sure your ticket was sent and the inbox

for a reply from the moderators.

One month that is a long time.. contact a moderator:

 

Please use the chatbot SIMon to help you solve your issue. If SIMon cannot solve your issue then you have the option to contact a moderator.

 

Step 1: Choose the ? button at the right bottom corner of this page or choose “Get Help” at the top of the page and then choose the “Chat with SIMon” button.

 

Step 2: Tell SIMon what the issue is and see if he can find a solution for you.

 

Step 3: If Simon cannot find a solution then type in “moderator” to connect to a Public Mobile customer service representative.

 

Step 4: Simon will present you with two choices. Choose “Account-specific question”

 

Step 5 Then choose “No, I want a human”

 

Step 6 Create your ticket
