Hi everyone,
I just got my alcatel go flip and am not able to send a text message. As soon as I try to type something it says expired! I tried to google it and someone suggested to install the new software update. So in order to do that, I tried to connect to wifi to get the updated software. BUT, as soon as I tried to enter the password for the wifi I couldn't and it said Expired! Basically I'm stuck here. Help please

“There is currently an issue preventing the Go Flip 3 device from sending text messages. To fix this issue temporarily, please preform the following steps on your phone: go to settings > personalization > select date and time > select auto sync > select OFF.
You will need to manually update the date to any day to any day prior to Jan 1, 2021. A software update will be made available on Jan 14th to permanently fix this issue.”
