I have received this call. There is no truth to it.  These calls will demand payment in a way to trick someone into sending money somewhere. The fake warnings about your cell phone being shut off are a high pressure tactic.  Makers of these calls contact wide ranges of phone numberrs.

likely a scam.  Don't do anything it asks you.  Instead, login My Account yourself and check if account status is active.  Or call 1-855-4PUBLIC from another phone and check the account status

Likely a scam.  Public mobile has not live customer service. No call centre.  No phone calls to remind customers about payments.  Your plan will just become inactive if payment missed.  No warming system set up. 

Check your PM account.  When is the due date on your next payment?  If your account status active versus suspended.
