I didn't have this issue before, but for a few months now I have stopped receiving the two factor authentication texts from a number of places.
This includes my banking institutions, insurance provider and more. I'm not able to login to many of these online pages unless I select the call option (if they have one)
I've made no changes to my number or sim card in years
What do I do?

if you are on Android, and if you are not using Google Message yet, try install Google Message. But, if you are using iPhone, try Reset network settings

You could also try clearing the messages app.
Settings>apps>storage= clear cache.
Reboot.
Or network reset if that doesn't work.
