Missing text messages and two factor authentication texts

Miyak
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

I didn't have this issue before, but for a few months now I have stopped receiving the two factor authentication texts from a number of places.

This includes my banking institutions, insurance provider and more. I'm not able to login to many of these online pages unless I select the call option (if they have one)

I've made no changes to my number or sim card in years

What do I do?

During business hours (9 AM-10 PM EST) you can expect a response within 30 minutes, but it may be longer depending on current volumes.

if you are on Android, and if you are not using Google Message yet, try install Google Message.  But, if you are using iPhone, try Reset network settings

You could also try clearing the messages app.

Settings>apps>storage= clear cache.

Reboot.

Or network reset if that doesn't work.

Reset network settings:
This will reset your network-related configurations, including Wi-Fi passwords, cellular settings, and VPN settings.

Go to Settings > General > Transfer & Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Android
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
