Good afternoon. I signed up online on Wednesday 8th of December and used my son's referral code. I'm still waiting on my $10 bonus and my son hasn't got his $1 either. I read here that it is supposed to be applied within 72 hours.
I got my Public Mobile welcome email on Friday the 10th of December.
My question is does the the 72 hours start from the welcome email or from when I signed up? And should I wait until Tuesday to contact customer service regarding this matter, or do so now. Appreciate the help. Thanks in advance.

Generally you should see the $10 within 72 hours. did your son see your number on the referral list? He should see on the same day

Thanks for replying. I started to fill out a ticket and there was the following message below
" Remember, Refer a Friend credits take up to 3 business days to appear in accounts."
My follow up question, is what is a business day here? Is it the traditional Monday to Friday? Thanks.

you will see it at your account within 3 days from your activations,
after 7 days if is not apply to your account you need to contact to CSA,
Terms & Conditions for new activations,
(1) One-time $0 2GB data add-on and one-time $0 500 minutes International Long Distance calling add-on are available to be added by all new and existing Public Mobile customers during December 1st 2021 9:00AM ET and December 31st 2021 11:59PM ET. New customers will have add-ons automatically added to their accounts within 1 week of activation. Existing customers will receive a SMS between December 1-15. Reply to receive add on automatically loaded to account. Free add-ons are one-time only and will fall off account when fully used. Each free add-on will only be added to each customer account once. International Long Distance calling add-on covers the following countries: Canada, United States, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.
(2) $30 Refer-a-friend bonus added to eligible customer accounts in $5 monthly increments for 6 months. Monthly credit will be applied as long as each payment is made before or on renewal date. Customers must use their unique referral code. Limited to one credit per customer. Offer ends December 31st 2021 11:59 EST, referred customer must activate by that time. Eligible customers will receive a monthly SMS confirmation when credit has been applied to the account. Credit will be applied within the first week of each month, starting in January.

@lblackma 72 hours from successful activation would be probably correct. If neither one of you are seeing the rewards in your account, then it's possible that there was an error when the code was added, i.e., zero/oh's can be confused in which case you need to submit a ticket to customer support via the chatbot bottom right of the screen and they will correct any errors and add the rewards to your account. However, just wait until the 72 hours has passed before contacting them.

The $1 reward should show immediately and he should get a Cha Ching text. But the text is hit and miss.
Your $10 should show next day. But things are slow...so wait the 72 hours. If nothing you may both have to contact a CSA.

Most customers will receive the $10 credit within 72 hours of activation of account/SIM card. Does your son see your number in his friend referral list?
If not, then you should contact Customer service agent today.
