There are some areas where some networks just can't provide you the 5G. You basically have to get around to an area and your phone should automatically go back to 5G.
If there is a 5G in your phone settings. Just enable it. You can conduct a speed test to confirm that it is 5G since there are phones that doesn’t show 5G.

My phone can't access 5G even though I upgraded on a promo on it. It gives me my old option of 3G or LTE. It's switched on LTE (until I upgrade my phone I think).
@Way1 Some phone even thou 5G capable like the Samsung s20 army supported with 5G network on PM what phone do you have ? And have you tried to change the network in phone settings ? Also note even with phone set to LTE being in5G plan should still see better speeds of 100MBS 4G plan
