Hello,
I left the country on October 30 and so was gone for most of this billing cycle (November 12 to December 12.) Changed out to a Digicel SIM. I returned December 1 and reinstalled my Public Mobile SIM. Received notices right away saying my data was mostly gone and then, entirely gone. I looked at the account activity and found that on midnight (actually 12:06am) of the day I returned, all of the data disappeared.
I'd love to hear from the community what might have happened and what I might do to avoid this in the future.
TIA
Glen

Alright.. So public mobile's accounting system claims that you used that much data, so now depending on what kind of phone you have (Android/iPhone?) you should look at the mobile data usage section of settings to see if you can find a correlated spike in data usage around that time as well. If so, you may be able to drill down to a specific app that caused the excessive usage.
In my Android 8.0 device, this is found under Network & Internet>Cellular Networks>Data Usage.
I remember when my dad had an instance where his iPhone was configured to backup his photos to iCloud, and it used up a bunch of his data before he discovered why and changed the setting to backup only over Wi-Fi...

This is what showed up in my daily usage at midnight on the day that I returned and replaced the SIM. I have a 1 GB plan and it was all used on the day that I replace the SIM.

I have a 1 GB plan. It was all used up in 1 update at 12:07 am Dec 1, the day I returned.

@glenroger What do you mean "all of the data disappeared". When you go into the "My Account" portal, what does it say under "Plan Usage" for data usage? Also hit that circular-arrow refresh button in the bottom right of that section to make sure it's showing current data:

@glenroger how much data we are talking about?? 250 Mb? 1GB? Or more??
And did you bring this same phone with you on the trip?

Bear in mind, that the data allotment displaying on the self-serve site accounts for all data used in the prior 12-hour period.
They just lump it all together and post it twice a day.
You may also be seeing a 'cached' version of the page. Log in with an incognito tab after clearing your system's cache and cookies, then tap the little refresher icons when on the self-serve site.
