same issue here with VoLTE on a LTE tower. Phone is compatiable according to their checker. I phone 15. This happens in this location quite frequently with other phones and providers and sometimes needs provider intervention

@Beeguy

You were always using 3G for voice.  But Manitoba is the first province to have 3G network shutdown.

you need a phone that is compatible with PM's VoLTE network, but unfortunately, your LG phone is not compatible and you need a newer phone, like Samsung S22 and above, A35 or so

I see but It always worked before on VOLTE on the 1900MHZ band in Souris Manitoba witch is off of a Bell tower as Telus only has towers in Winnipeg and Brandon Manitoba.

@Beeguy

LG Velvet is VoLTE but it is not a phone that is on PM's VoLTE whitelist.  You can confirm that using the IMEI checker here:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/get-help/articles/volte

Telus is currently  refarming the 850MHz band 5 spectrum and hence you are left with 1900MHz for voice calls.

Since this phone's VoLTE does not work with PM system,  there is really nothing much you can do other than getting a phone that is on PM's own VoLTE whitelist.
