Long distance calls

Good day, I just renewed my plan on December 2nd, 2016 and since the beginning I'm unable to dial any 819, 438, 514, 450 numbers. I had to add 200 mns of long distance to use my phone and I have a province wide plan. Can you please fix it because I don't want to add any more long distance plan? If I have a Quebec plan, I should be able to dial any number to Quebec from Quebec. I live in Gatineau, I can't even call any local number. I'm waiting for your answer to fix the issue. Thank you !

@kenny its not really an issue where you are as much as which tower you are on

I have same issue with Niagara Falls when it jumps to US towers despite being in Canada

@kenny the problem is that depending where you are in Gatineau, your phone can still be connecting to a tower in Ottawa.  It's a huge flaw in PM's system for province-wide plans, that they don't handle Gatineau very well.  Same thing happens when you're near the US border - your phone ends up connecting to US towers sometimes if it finds a stronger signal there.

Private message any moderator with your phone number and an explanation. The backlog is such that it may be several more days before you have a response. Suggest you create a way to cope with that delay. If you decide to purchase the long distance add-on to get by for now, ask for a credit.

@kenny it is only a free call while in Gatineau on a Gatineau cell tower. If you cross into Ottawa or get picked up by an Ottawa tower your service won't work.
