Leaving Canada/USA for two weeks, any unexpected charges?

I know there is no roaming outside of US, which is totally fine. I'm just worried I'll receive a text and be charged for it. Or will I just not receive texts/calls at all outside of Canada/US?

Just want to avoid any unexpected charges, should I take out my SIM card?

I have spent about 6 months in the USA for a few years now.   I have never received a bill for any texts.   The phone calls do not come through to your phone unless you have added minutes to your phone for USA Talk and Text.

Other than Canada and USA, if you are outside of these countries. You simply won’t get calls or text.

If you have an iPhone, you will get iMessage through wifi so no charge.

There are never any overages or extra charges other than your plan charges every 30 days.

It's the same with every prepaid mobile provider.

HI @Aly_abnp   no need to worry.  PM is prepaid, so, if you didn't pay anything , they cannot charge you extra

You actually don't need to take out the sim card.  Leaving it in , if you are in US,  you can still receive incoming text for free.  But you cannot send. So, it is good to receive 2FA code if you need

if outside US. then no service

The service simply won't work.
