Since switching my plan to the 4G plan, I’ve noticed that my internet is incredibly slow. I typically only have one bar of service, at best it’s two, so I end up switching back to 3G because it’s a bit faster. Is anyone else having this issue? I’ve tried resetting my network settings and that didn’t do anything. Please help 😞

@rossputin usually 5G Auto would be good enough
but try those different one, check what speed you got on each one.

Thank you @softech @I have iPhone 12mini
ive changed from auto to on. See what happen.
I’ve reset network settings for other reasons before so I don’t think that’s it.

What phone do you have?
and if your phone supports 5G, try changing to 5G and test it
Also, try to click Reset All networks and it could save your issue on LTE/4G (Please note that it will also clear your saved Wifi and Bluetooth connections, but you can easily add them back after)
Also, test in different area, use Speed Test and give some real download number and share here
if it is too slow, like less than 10Mbps, probably should open ticket with support and ask them to reprovision your account/sim
and @brinanter since you are close to the border, try to change the network from Automatic to Manual and select Public Mobile, it might help

Same thing. A few months now. No doubt it’s slower, the question is is that on purpose? Trying frustrate us to upgrading?
I’m in the areas I normally have no problems.

Ok I switched from a 3G plan to 4G quite a while ago. I live in a metro area but work in a rural area and find I usually only have one bar everywhere. I’m in Windsor, ON near a U.S. border so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Never had this problem on 3G though. I’m not sure what a speed test is?

@brinanter if you were on the 3G speed plan before it usually takes a few days before the system throttling adjusts and changes to the 4G speeds.
Are you in a rural or metro area? Have you tried doing a speedtest when you are in an area with better coverage...ie with more bars showing?
