hi,
recently switched from Fido to public mobile.
I notice that while I'm on a call.. my data will switch from lte down to H.
is this normal? I don't think this happened when I was with Fido. it would just remain as Lte during a voice call

Koodo does not have this yet. So unlikely PM will get this soon.
Then again we got Name Calling and I did not expect that so I might be wrong

I recently posted an idea on Public Lab requesting PM to consider adding VoLTE to their list of new features.
If you agree with this, go to the link below and Bravo my idea if we want more traction from PM.

oh i thought public mobile uses the telus lte network so i thought voLTE is possible..
so now that makes sense why my data gets switched to 3g when i get a call..

Can't yet speak from experience but I'm told that that is normal behaviour of the network: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Phones-Hardware/What-happens-to-data-tethering-when-a...

This is totally normal. Public Mobile does not have VoLTE yet.
