I tried to transfer my Koodo prepaid phone number to my new public mobile account & it came up as;
“Invalid phone number if you’re transferring from Koodo prepaid please contact a customer service agent”
Anyone know why this is happening?
Ps: Koodo account is still active.

Finish the whole thing with a new number. Done. Then you need to contact support to do the transfer.
Koodo prepaid and Public share some infrastructure so these transfers need to be done manually by them.

Sorry, so set up my account with a new number from public mobile & then continue with the number transfer?

You need to take any number and complete. Then you need to ask support to transfer.

Koodo prepaid numberr transfers cannot be done from the activation or Serlf Serve portals. Public Mobile customer suport agent is need for this request. Please open a ticket using the chatbot at: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
