Does anyone have any experience with US roaming for Koodo. Is it more expansive than PM add on?

@Anonymous
Thank you for thr correction. I went back and edit my post with the correct information. I kept thinking $20 and mixed up te price with the days when I was writing up the post on my smartphone. I was going back and forth from the plans add-ons page on another tab.
I don’t want to give people the wrong information. I really appreciate you double checking my information.
Thanks.

Yes is little more coins than PM, only $8 a day ROAM like home, is only money after all, treats yourself good, you live only once, don't be penny pinchers
I like your attitude. If you were paying my way, I could be quite frivolous with the spending.

Generally, public Mobile US roaming is cheaper. The single day trip is the only exception. I have a number of friends who opt to stay with Public Mobile over going to Koodo because of the better pricing on US roaming. These people usually go for the weekend or long weekend.

The process were mentioned by others already. If you stay a day Koodo maybe cheaper. If you stay 10 days PM maybe cheaper. All depends.
Koodo usr to have packages but switched to the easy roam.
Note Koodo can be used internationally as well for $12/day in other countries. PM does not have any agreements outside USA.

@Jarvar wrote:I believe Koodo uses Easy Roam which allows you to use your plan in the U.S. For example, your data and minutes would come from your exising plan. The cost is $8/24 hours with a maximum of $100 per billing cycle.
PM on the other hand uses US roaming Add-ons which last for 20 days. They are not like the other Add-ons which rollover, they expire after 20 days. I think they have an Add-on which is just text and talk, and another which is text, talk and data for $20/ 20 days. Which offers unlimited talk and text with 250MB of data for 20 days.
they also have just talk $8 or just text for $8. Talk and text is $15. Data only is $10/200MB, $15/500MB and $20/1GB.
In the end yoi have to calculate if it is worth it for you compared to Koodo depending on your particular usage.

@Jarvar - just a small correction... The US roaming add-ons are for 10 days, not 20 days..
