Last night I signed up for Public Mobile and I tried transfering my Koodo prepaid number over but it said it was invalid. After talking to the chatbot, it told me to just start with a new number on my new plan then submit a ticket in which I would get help transferring my Koodo number over. Anyone have any tips around this or an idea of how long this might take to complete?

it won't take long. The activation with the new number is almost instant
then you submit a ticket and agent with reply within an hour. Always message agent early in the day and you will have quicker reply. It is best to start around this time, and you will get the line fully transferred before dinner hour
After you setup the new account, submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".
