I have a kids watch phone that doesn't have apps. I have a physical public sim card. I payed for service on the Public site and it's directing me to get the app to activate but the watch doesn't have apps. Is there a way around this issue?

Just to add what has been already said.
Public mobile does not offer smart watch plans or tablet plans like other companies. You can get PM network to work on watches and tablets, but the customer needs to do all the troubleshooting, etc. For some customers, it is not worth the trouble.

first, if your watch use eSIM, it won't work.
But if you watch use a physical sim card , then you are good
you cannot download the add on the watch, so, you need to complete the activation using a phone first. So, just download the app on your phone and run the activation.
Once activated, do not put in the physical sim card in the watch yet. Instead, put the sim card in a phone, then go to My Account using the browser and login once more. This will allow the system to send you a first time 2FA via sms after activation. This is needed or you will have trouble logging in after. After you receive the 2FA via text on the phone and login, you can then mo put the sim card in the watch and use it
