Just upgraded to 4G plan download slower

Hi everyone, I just upgraded to the new 4G plan, 6GB. I ran a speed test and my download is 0.65mbps and upload is 3.11mbps. when I was on the 3G plan my speeds were roughly 3 and 1 mbsp. Why is my download so much slower on a supposedly faster plan? I checked my self serve portal and I did indeed use 0.1/6gigabytes of my new plan. Why can I do?

Wowsers! Well that helps confirm the 30× faster data speed. Thanks for taking the hit on your mobile data to do a speed test.....the ultimate sacrifice for us tight wads!!

Yes, 48 hours is official policy.

Is this buried in an FAQ somewhere?  It should also be included in the plan details and the account management site when picking and changing plans.

Just like when you join pm it takes the same amount time for your data speed to unthrottle as does to throttle. 48 to 72 hours.

I figured there was waiting involved, but is there anything officially documented by PM about this, or is this just from what people have "noticed"?

Could it be local cell site congestion?
