Just activated an account. I am unable to receive or texts but my calls work

I subscribed to a phone plan yesterday. I was able to transfer my phone number and I am connected to the Public Mobile network but I am not able to receive or texts but my calls work as well as my data. 

My esim is the public mobile one. I tried restarting my phone. No changes. Please assist.

This is confirmation that number porting has likely failed.  CSA_PM will help you with this.

This means that your phone number was never transferred to Public Mobile.  Did you respond to a text message from your old carrier?  Check if the missing calls and text messages are going to your old carrier.  I have asked Public Mobile to contact you.
