Just a mess.....

DMacKeen

I switched my number to the one I had with my previous provider.  Now all my calls are going directly to voice messaging with my previous provider.  On my profile the phone number is correct but when anyone calls it, it does not come to the phone but directly to voice message.   I can't get the Public Mobile  AI dummy to understand the problem and there are no humans to talk to.  So, I basically have no phone service.     On a good note (if there is one) I do have data and messaging and can call out.

I am trying to get some explanation from Eastlink,  my previous provider,  although they just tell me that my service with them has been discontinued.   I am making another attempt to get to their tech department

@DMacKeen

try changing your network mode to 3G and check if calls come

if it still goes to voicemail, you sure it is to PM voicemail and not Eastlink voicemail?  In such case, submit a ticket with CS agent here:

HI  @DMacKeen

actually for porting problem there is human to talk to.  I will send you the porting team number to your Community inbox

Your issue is that porting not done.   But Eastlink, this is a home line?  if it is home or VoIP line, it will take as many as 3 to 7 business days to complete the port, it is normal, not a PM or Eastlink issue, happen to all landline and VoIP porting

if it is a cell, did you get a text from them and approve the port (no such text if landline)

anyway, call the porting team I sent you
