Just Signed Up

I just signed up and received the SMS from my previous provider.  I responded YES but they did not confirm.  Did I wait too long?  Did I activate the eSim first and messed this up?  Not sure what's happening.

Your old SIM will continue to work for about 2 hours until porting is completed then power off the phone and switch the SIM.

if you want to confirm if your esim setup was correct ,make sure you remove your old carrier sim card or disable the old carrier esim

and then reboot the phone, Reset Network settings, check if you can make outbound calls from the PM esim

@Bethy64   You have 90 minutes to reply to the text.  Then wait for your previous provider's sim to stop working.  Your Public Mobile esim should then work - restart your phone.
