I am trying to transfer my husbands number to his public account. It is telling me his number isn’t a Canadian number and that we have to contact Koodo to transfer. He is currently with Sasktel and has a number from Lemberg Sask. has anyone had this issue before? How can it be resolved so that he can keep his old number

@JessSenft23 You can buy public mobile SIM card from Telus or Koodo . But the link I sent you in my last reply is for private message to support not the chat bot which I struggle to use myself . But if yours worked then I assume his should work too I would just want to verify with support and can’t say with certainty that it will most cases most numbers can be ported to public but it all and I would want to be 💯 certain first

We both have Sasktel we are on one plan with them. Mine worked just fine. The support chat has not been helpful at all. Could he go into a Telus place and get a physical SIM card and transfer his number ?

@JessSenft23 Unfortunately not all number can be transferred to public mobile , and so if he’s with Sasktel there’s good chance it cannot be transferred to public mobile . Be best to confirm with support first or you might need to pick new number from public mobile instead
