I am hoping this is a good sign. On Sunday I opted to do the port later for my second phone since the first was a full on activation fail. I did successfully activate the SIM and got issued a random number. I attempted to port in my number from Telus (613-#######) on the “plans and add ons” but the whole page was riddled with errors. After multiple attempts on different drowsers I kept the red text telling me to contact Public Mobile for assistance. I spoke with Telus who said that the port out request is visible on thier side for the number.
So this morning my Telus SIM went dead. I popped my PM SIM in to my phone and there is data but I can't make or receive calls.
Could this be good news that the port is in prgress? Or am I just in a different state of "pooched" than before?

Old sim stopped working means the porting is in progress. Now, PM needs to work on to complete the porting process. Waiting game! 😞 Hopefully, you get the service rolling sooner than later.

It is a good sign! (I think.)
It *SHOULD* mean that you will be getting service in the next few hours or so. That said, PM says that you should be getting mixed service during this time.
Hang in there, should workd soon (Hopefully).
