Is there an add on limit?

simonskris93

Hey everyone,

Was wondering does anybody know if there is a limit to the amount of add ons a person can have on their account, was thinking of switching to the $15 plan with unlimited incoming and 100 Minutes outgoing, and wanted to add a couple of the $5 500 minute add ons but was checking too see first if there is a limit of how many could be on the account,

Thanks in advance for the help,

Best regards

Agreed.

It's prudent to have some add-on minutes or data "just in case" you ever need them. But don't go overboard - they're one-way purchases, non-refundable, non-transferable. In the end you'll have to use them or let them waste your money.

If you pay heavily into your PM account then you'll be more "locked" into it - less willing to port away from your investment. Not an issue if you plan to stay with PM for long-term gains, but a problem if you prefer the freedom of "voting with your wallet" and chasing after any better deals the competition might offer.

Nobody (outside of PM) ever knows what PM is really up to or where they'll be in the future. They might give us more free add-ons, like they've done before. They might restructure all their plans with unlimited Talk or (surprisingly) offer unlimited Data or whatever, basically making "just in case" add-ons into useless and redundant things. Or they might join the Telus Dark Side, discard all their "legacy" plans, and force customers to buy higher-cost plan options moving forward. You never know, eh?

Lots of $15 plan users take advantage of voip apps such as TextNow.

You'll get a free Cdn phone number and you'll be able to call / text to anyone that has a North American phone number...for gratis... as long as you have a wifi signal.

@simonskris93

There is no add-on limits.  One of my account has 4x $5/500 minutes add-on and a $15/400 international minutes add-on.

Please note that US roaming has 10 days expiry.  Therefore, there is no points to have more than 1 US roaming add-on at a time.

Since the other add-ons do not have expiry date, you can have as many add-on you like.

I believe there is only limit on top up amount and it's pretty high maybe 500 or so.

You will be getting texts when your data or talk reaches 75% or 90%, you will have chance to purchase add-on when you need it, I wouldn't rush into piling up add-ons that may become obsolete

Install textnow for unlimited calling and you should be fine

 @simonskris93

Do you anticipate calling out up to 10 hours after a renewal with one add-on?

You could also text people to call you with the unlimited incoming.

@simonskris93 There's supposedly no limit.

Do keep in mind when buying that purchases are non refundable.
