Is there a simple hassle-free way of installing a new SIM Card? Just installed one and encountered a very difficult situation with my being advised that the number on the new sim card was incorrect, etc.
Had to visit a counter in a shopping mall for assistance which was resolved instantly. Await your response with a simple no hassle activitation of another mobile phone with a new sim card

Did you make it to the payment page when you tried activating at home? If you did and entered your payment details can you check your online statement for a transaction from either PUBLIC MOBILE or KOODO TOP UP REAPPROV for your plan amount+tax?

My apologies, esjliv, I did mean activating rather than installing sim card. encountered mega problems with activating my personal SIM. Finally got it done at a shopping mall. hate to go thru the same hassle with activating my wife's sim

@7474 - it is a bit unclear what the issue exactly is.
Your subject says: "Is there a simple hassle-free way of installing a new SIM Card?"
YES, there is. Simply open the SIM Slot (with a tool, like below or pin of some sort), then remove the SIM card, then add the new SIM card inside the SIM holder.
Insert. Done.
SIM's come in 3 in 1 sizes. So remove or add the outer parts as needed.
If you need to change the SIM card number associated with your current account/number, then you can see

Could you please clarify your question(s).
What exactly you are trying to accomplish?
To activate new SIM?
To physically plug in SIM into your phone?
To replace broken SIM with new SIM and keep same number?
Something else is a problem?

@7474 What was the exact issue? usually the replacing Sim process is very simple. You said you went back to the shop for assistance, what did they do? give you another SIM? and are you replacing PM SIM or you got a new PM SIM for new activation?
