When browsing the compatibilty test they offer I cannot find the LG G6 on the list, so does that mean it is automatically incompabible with the network? I have the LG H873 if that makes the life or death difference.

That's the phone my son uses. Works fine on PM.
One piece of BONUS info...
He was having a tough time with cutting out, horrible call quality, fading in and out, etc. I was hearing it first hand. Was very frustrating. After doing some research, it's a known issue with the devices. In the settings, under the following:
Call settings --> Advanced --> More
Make sure Noise supression is OFF. You should be ok with leaving Voice Clarity ON.
Good luck

An LG G6 if bought from a Canadian store new (or via a known friend or workmate) yes, it will be compatible.
The LG phones have a bad habit of requiring at least a network reset, if not a factory reset. Coming from Freedom especially.

@Catz-PJz I've had both the LG G3 and LG G5, so I don't see why the LG G6 wouldn't work. I'd say you're good to go. You can also check out GSM Arena for specs on any type of phone you're looking into. I use that site all the time, pretty detailed info there.

As per Dunkman, the H873 is compatible. You'll need to make sure that it isn't locked to another carrier. Some of these earlier batches were locked to a the carrier that sold it, while some of them had the word "unlocked" on the box's serial number/IMEI sticker.
