Is it possible to port your number over after the fact???

I just set up two new public mobile account and they are working great, I chose a new number for the 1st one as the port wouldnt allow it to transfer but it worked for the 2nd number .. So my question is can i port over the number that failed after ive set the acct up etc.???

Yes, you can change your number or port a number, even after the initial set-up.

Hi @Shawn82, welcome to Public Mobile! Provided that you kept your account active at the previous carrier on the # you didn't port, then yes you can initiate a port request at any time. Sign into your self-serve account for the line you activated with a new #, go tot Plans & Add-ons tab, and to the phone number change feature. There, you can request to port in the other phone number.
