Is a SIM tied to you?

Funny title I know.  I received two sims in the mail. And may toss one on kijiji to help someone out (and maybe make enough for a free coffee lol).  Is the non-activated SIM tied to me / my account in any way?

@CaNuCk07 and @francecastro are correct. SIM cards are not associated with you until you activate them. 

Make sure to get your referrals!

Just had a funny thought.

Maybe I will "Amazing Race" it.  I will be at in intersection in my city, and then make a post here titled free SIM for the first person who meets up with me!

1st person, gets the SIM... lol...

I'm no expert but I dont think it's tied to you.

Most especially if the sim hasn't been opened or activated online.

I dont believe they are tied to you until its actually setup.

But maybe instead of kijiji post in this forum if you want to get rid of it.  (unless you are selling it then im not sure if you can post in here).

But there are lots of people who are waiting for sims and might need one in the mean time.
