Can i use my public mobile sim card on my ipad?

give this a quick try......go in to the cellphone Settings > Personal Hotspot > Allow Others to Join.  Make note of the wifi password shown. Turn on iPad and look for your cellphone name in the wifi...then log in and use the password you noted. You'll be able to use the data from your Public Mobile plan on your iPad.

Yes, i have inserted physical sim but the data does not work on my ipad. It works fine on my phone tho

yes, you can.

similar step.  just activate it using a phone.  make sure you login My Account once after so you can the 2FA via sms, which opens up the 2FA via email

for Data, make sure you Update Carrier Profile and Reset network settings

yes, you can use PM sim on iPad, just make sure you know iPad cannot receive phone calls and sms

with My Account login, with  with eSIM on iPad, generally you have to activate the esim on the phone first.  Then get the 2FA via SMS on the phone first.  After you got the first time 2FA on SMS , that opens up 2FA using email.  You can then install PM app on the iPad and buy the eSIM on the iPad and setup eSIM on ipAd that way

I tried to use the internet on my ipad but it shows 3g and data does not work at all. Any setting advise?

you can use the ipad via hotspot on your cellusing your Public Mobile data. Public Mobile has no data-only plans that would be great for ipads.
