As stated, there's no roaming service in Peru, so it won't work. That said, if you have Wi-Fi you can still send messages via iMessage/RCS; SMS and MMS will not work though.

If you're in Canada wanting to send a text to someone in Peru, that will work just fine and has no extra charges.

PM has no roaming service in Peru, so you won't receive any text there

the International text included in your plan is just for you to send from Canada to other countries, or when you receive text from other countries when you are in Canada.

@19651 , no you will not be charge extra to response to text from Peru.  This service is prepaid.  You will never be charged for any service that is not purchased in advance.
